Established in 1993, the Zambia Sport Fishing Association (ZSFA) is the premier governing body for recreational and competitive angling in Zambia and a member of IGFA. With an active and expanding membership exceeding 600 participants, the association maintains a dynamic presence by overseeing an annual portfolio of national fishing competitions.

As a registered non-profit organization, the ZSFA is dedicated to environmental conservation and the advancement of responsible, ethical sport angling practices. The association successfully executes this mandate through a structured framework of public education, regulatory enforcement, and official record keeping.
